Each year millions of animals are euthanized at shelters across the United States. Most of these animals would make a great companion if there were just enough homes. We believe strongly in reducing the pet overpopulation problem and we need the community’s help to do it. MCACC is dedicated to increasing the adoption rate at Maricopa County shelters and educating the public on their responsibilities as pet owners. Spaying and neutering is high on our list of priorities.

Did you know that spaying and neutering your pet…

  • Helps with¬†problem spraying and marking, and other behavior problems
  • Helps reduce costly medical bills
  • Reduces the chance your pet will get lost, since it won’t have the urge to roam
  • Eliminates messy heat cycles
  • Reduces the cost of a dog license as licenses for altered dogs are less expensive
  • Ensures that no more unwanted animals are born
